From there, treatment recommendations are individualized based on each patient’s unique needs and may incorporate one or several therapies depending on the situation.

Dr. Kimberly Leupold, DACM, L.Ac., Dipl. Ac., CCP, HTPA
Owner, Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, Licensed and Board-Certified Acupuncturist, Certified Esogetic Colorpuncture Practitioner, Herbalist, Healing Touch Practitioner Apprentice, and Co-Founder of Ryley’s Rainbow
Dr. Kimberly Leupold founded Holistic Health Care Centers in Lisle, IL, in 2013. She is also the co-founder of Ryley’s Rainbow, a nonprofit clinic affiliated with Acupuncturists Without Borders, established in 2017. In addition to the qualifications listed above, she has training in Energetic Transformations.
Dr. Leupold’s specialties include infertility and fertility support, pediatric care, pain management, gastrointestinal disorders, and support for stress, emotional trauma, and mental health. She also provides care for men’s and women’s health, general health and wellness, and cosmetic acupuncture and microneedling. Her whole-person approach considers each patient’s physical and emotional health, individual circumstances, and goals.
Her graduate education in acupuncture and Chinese medicine includes:
• Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2019, graduating with honors and a 4.0 GPA.
• Master of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) from National University of Health Sciences in 2012, graduating as valedictorian and summa cum laude. During her training, she completed a rotating residency at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, as well as specialty internships.
Dr. Sobhana Vasan, DAc., L.Ac., Dipl. Ac., SEP, CCP, MBA
Doctor of Acupuncture, Licensed and Board-Certified Acupuncturist, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, Systemic Family Constellations Practitioner, Certified Esogetic Colorpuncture Practitioner, and Reiki Advanced Practitioner
Dr. Sobhana Vasan is a compassionate practitioner dedicated to supporting her patients’ health and well-being through holistic and integrative care. She provides personalized, attentive care that considers each patient’s physical and emotional health, experiences, and goals.
Dr. Sobhana believes that each person has an intrinsic capacity for healing and growth. Her approach recognizes the connection between mind, body, and spirit, and how stress, life challenges, and overwhelming experiences can affect our sense of balance and well-being.
Through acupuncture and her additional therapeutic practices, she helps patients address physical discomfort, support emotional well-being, and cultivate greater balance in their lives.
Dr. Sarah Hung, ND, MSOM, L.Ac., Dipl. Ac.
Board-Certified Naturopathic Doctor, Licensed Acupuncturist, and Herbalist
Dr. Sarah Hung helps patients explore the underlying contributors to their health concerns through a personalized, holistic approach. She incorporates medicinal plants and herbs, nutrition, and food as medicine to help patients feel informed and empowered in caring for their health.
Drawing on her training in naturopathic medicine, Chinese medicine, acupuncture, functional laboratory testing, and herbal medicine, Dr. Sarah supports patients with hormonal imbalances, fertility concerns, stress, emotional health concerns, and digestive issues. She also helps patients pursue healthy aging, longevity, and overall wellness.
Outside of her practice, Dr. Sarah enjoys performing music, practicing martial arts, and spending time with family and friends. As a natural foods enthusiast, she enjoys preparing nutritious, flavorful meals inspired by a variety of cultures, as well as spending time outdoors and in nature..
Dr. John, DC
Chiropractic Physician and Certified Acupuncture Practitioner
Dr. John brings approximately 15 years of experience as a licensed, board-certified chiropractic physician to Holistic Health Care Centers in Lisle, IL. He is also certified in acupuncture.
His specialties include sports medicine, personal injury and auto accident injuries, and pain management. He cares for patients experiencing low back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, headaches, migraines, and other musculoskeletal concerns.
Dr. John evaluates and treats musculoskeletal and spinal conditions, considering both a patient’s symptoms and the underlying factors contributing to their discomfort. He combines treatment approaches based on each patient’s needs to help reduce pain, restore function, and support rehabilitation.
Through education, clear communication, and attention to detail, Dr. John provides individualized, one-on-one care. He values strong relationships with his patients and creates a supportive environment where they can work toward recovery and long-term well-being.
Penny Leupold, RN, MS, CHTP, HTCP
Licensed Registered Nurse, Certified Healing Touch Practitioner, and Professor Emeritus of Nursing
Penny brings more than 54 years of nursing experience and a lifelong commitment to holistic care. She sees each patient as a whole person, considering their mind, body, and spirit alongside their physical health concerns.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Valparaiso University and her Master of Science in Maternal Child Nursing from Northern Illinois University. She was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and served as a professor of nursing for more than 30 years.
As a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner, Penny offers compassionate, individualized support for patients’ overall well-being. Her approach recognizes that each person’s needs and experiences extend beyond an illness or injury.
Penny is a member of the American Holistic Nurses Association, Healing Touch Program, and Healing Beyond Borders.
Floyd Herrera, LMT

Floyd Herrera, Licensed Massage Therapist
Floyd graduated from the Soma Institute of Chicago in April 2017 after completing 750 hours of training. He graduated as valedictorian and received the Presidential Award.
With over eight years of experience and ongoing continuing education, Floyd is dedicated to supporting wellness, recovery, and relaxation through therapeutic massage. He tailors each session to the patient’s individual needs, with a focus on improving function and managing pain.
His personalized, holistic approach helps patients address areas of tension and discomfort while supporting their overall well-being.
Audrea Cannon, Licensed Massage Therapist
Audrea completed her massage therapy education at Harper College, where she trained in Swedish massage, myofascial techniques, trigger point therapy, neuromuscular techniques, and individualized treatment planning.
She is passionate about helping patients reduce pain and tension, improve mobility and function, and support their overall health through therapeutic massage. Audrea adapts each session to the patient’s needs, comfort level, health history, and treatment goals.
Clear communication, comfort, consent, and respect for patient autonomy are central to her approach. She creates a supportive treatment experience where patients can feel more comfortable in their bodies while working toward recovery and greater well-being.
